Writing: Interesting, Frustrating, Creative, Worthwhile

Now we know writing has its rewards and downfalls: composition, relevance, subject/topic matter, punctuation, grammar, syntax, sentence structure and so many other characteristics. Whew! It is exhausting just thinking about it. It can be frustrating, even mind numbing and taxing, when you are “in the zone” just creating ideas onto paper or words onto word processing documents. All the time you dedicate on formulating the ideas and concepts onto paper can just feel like an investment. There are so many ramblings that I can go into tangents about it, but overall, I think it can be fun to write, that’s if you have the passion for it. The passion of feeling like you soar when you start writing from beginning to end, which it is one that feel liberating and rewarding.

In my opinion, some people may think only professionals are writers. Well, I guess that assertion makes sense but if you have compassion to create creative content then you have already passed the “professional” hurdle. Now there are literary minds that have authored many pieces of literature and content along the blogosphere, but they also started from the ground up. Writing is universal and will always be. Moreover, some may agree but others would argue that assertion; anyone can write when they feel the urge, the yearning for more.

Be You: Know What You Are and Proclaim It

Self-worth : A feeling that you are a good person who deserves to be treated with respect. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary) Some of us may wonder when we will ascertain our purpose , or what thing(s) give(s) us a purpose . It is often a ruminating question that circulates in many minds on a continual basis; whereas, it is something that we have to cope by whenever it happens to us. Often times we think about whether we can feel comfortable enough to feel happy with ourselves and to present it to other people who need it the most. Whenever we can achieve goals of true inner-peace and contentment within ourselves and exude it is when we share it. Do not let other people determine you because you matter as well; you matter so much that many other people want you to, too. Know your worth , your value , your existence , your being ; you’re being is something that takes precedence , regardless of discouragement , adversity or whatnot comes in between you and it. Feel it, be it, realize i...

Assimilate

While I am ruminating through thoughts on a topic, I stumbled upon a "word of the day" post idea. So, in turn, I will try this and see how it works. Well, whenever I think of assimilation I think of adjusting or understanding something(s) to a full extent. It may sound like a stretch but hope it works. Definition here: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/assimilate Whenever we assimilate, it makes us think of how we must adjust to changes that either affect or transcend into our routines or norms. The norms or routines may be something we are used to, or we look to acclimate to something that is new that we want to set as a routine. Perhaps, assimilation is not a bad thing because what it could do is shape how we confront issues, the ones that we may dislike to a full degree. Additionally, it could shape a new level of maturity for us; to develop a new mindset of how to resolve issues or problems that seem unpleasant. One thing may be certain is that assimilation...
