I am sorry for neglecting you, for not considering your feelings I am sorry for ignoring your tears, the ones that flood your face and stream endlessly You deserve more love and attention Don't cry, don't fret, don't stress I am sorry your anguish has taken a toll, one that truly caused you pain I am sorry your voice was silenced by the volatility You deserve better You demand better, and the world shall listen I am sorry for your scars -- physical, emotional, and mental I am sorry I never liberated you You need the freedom from the suffocation You deserve better You deserve love Love more than hate I am sorry I want to do better by you
