Addressing These Concerns

Well, I do not think this will generate much attention, or really any raised eyebrows for that matter. To address the question of whether I use social media: Yes, I do in fact use it. Honestly, I have addressed my fallouts with Facebook in 2017 and Twitter earlier this spring. The only social media that I use at this time are YouTube (Oddly, I consider this as social media), Snapchat (As of this past Monday, the 10th), and Instagram (Using it since July 2017). To me, I can only think of social media by this determination: I use it to socialize, motivate others, compliment content that I feel seems appealing, and to share content that I feel is necessary to share. Basically, social media is like an outlet for me, and I do not monetize from it -- in no means whatsoever. Essentially it is meant to be fun for me -- and it will remain that way for me. Social media is one of those outlets or platforms that seems to preserve purposes that intend to make or break someone.

So, if social media is a strong suit that someone has then it is fine by me. As for me I know that I will continue to entertain myself by how social media works for me -- as a tool that helps my self-fulfillment.

The Inevitable -- Original Poem

It was meant to happen Someone or something unexpected  It interrupts you, discourages you It was meant to happen It has changed you, your life It has made you live for more Someone or something that was meant for you You yearn to know the reason But it remains unknown, hidden It was meant to happen It confuses you, frustrated you It has angered you, enticed you Made you feel defeated But you never gave up You strived to learn more You remained persistent, never gave up It was meant to happen Someone or something unexpected has occurred to you Don't let it go You will know it soon enough It was the inevitable

Stamping the Pathway: Women Plant Historical Marks

Personal note: Just to start, the topic of Women’s History Month is challenging, to balance the message and relevance of this piece, because of the fact that March has gained recognition as Women’s History Month, dated back in 1978. Throughout the course of history, an abundance of women mobilized during experiences, instances that confronted adversity based upon gender, race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic class and other classes within the societal umbrella. Respectively, many compassionate women acted as trailblazers even as many contenders questioned their integrity and intentions. However, it is certain that many women remained persistent and pushed the limits to share awareness. Another personal note: as a plethora of women have declared and acted toward powerful moments of our history, they have transcended above the fray. Personally, I admire women who defend their rights as they strive for a world of equality. From Jane Fonda, Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Steinem, Madeline Alb...

Be You: Know What You Are and Proclaim It

Self-worth : A feeling that you are a good person who deserves to be treated with respect. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary) Some of us may wonder when we will ascertain our purpose , or what thing(s) give(s) us a purpose . It is often a ruminating question that circulates in many minds on a continual basis; whereas, it is something that we have to cope by whenever it happens to us. Often times we think about whether we can feel comfortable enough to feel happy with ourselves and to present it to other people who need it the most. Whenever we can achieve goals of true inner-peace and contentment within ourselves and exude it is when we share it. Do not let other people determine you because you matter as well; you matter so much that many other people want you to, too. Know your worth , your value , your existence , your being ; you’re being is something that takes precedence , regardless of discouragement , adversity or whatnot comes in between you and it. Feel it, be it, realize i...
