Giver



An original poem I wrote on Saturday, May 9, 2015, that I am sharing from my journal. Note: This poem is dedicated to people who give and thrive in life while giving.


Sacrifice a lot and expect nothing
In return realize your worth
Do not let others act condescendingly 
Give in light of their ungratefulness 
Ungratefulness shall sink -- too much weight, too dense
Give to others and enrich oneself
Oneself is worthy to feel content
Live happily with ease, expect nothing
In return you realize giving is worth your life 
Life is fulfilled and enriched with purpose

The Source: A Rediscovered Homeland (An unfinished short story)

This is a short story that I have been writing for a couple months, and I have hit writer's block. Ugh! I love to write, and I try to improve on it whenever I can. A lot of times I feel my sentence structure, punctuation and syntax need improvements. Be You: Know What You Are and Proclaim It

Self-worth : A feeling that you are a good person who deserves to be treated with respect. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary) Some of us may wonder when we will ascertain our purpose , or what thing(s) give(s) us a purpose . It is often a ruminating question that circulates in many minds on a continual basis; whereas, it is something that we have to cope by whenever it happens to us. Often times we think about whether we can feel comfortable enough to feel happy with ourselves and to present it to other people who need it the most. Whenever we can achieve goals of true inner-peace and contentment within ourselves and exude it is when we share it.
